The Story

Founded by Mathew Trautt in San Diego and launched April 2020 with a rosin-infused pre-roll line debuted exclusively at Mankind dispensary, paired with an in-store BB Bastidas art installation. The thesis was to make rosin consumption accessible to non-dabbers while treating packaging and retail moments as fine-art canvases. By September 2021 CLSICS had entered a Kiva Sales and Service distribution partnership to scale across California.

Frequently Asked

CLSICS is a San Diego-based premium solventless live rosin brand founded in April 2020 by Mathew Trautt. It positions itself as "the art company that sells weed," combining rosin-infused products with art-forward packaging and retail experiences.

Wellgreens Pacific Beach carries 49 CLSICS Products, including all-in-one live rosin vapes, 510 live rosin cartridges, Tier 3 live rosin concentrates, hash-infused pre-rolls (singles and 10-packs), live rosin edibles (10-pack and 20-pack gummies), and a 510 battery. Flavors include Cherry Kola, Mango Cult, Pink Lemon Up, Cereal Milk, Blue Crack, and Blackberry Fire.

CLSICS is solventless-only, using just ice, water, heat, and pressure for extraction. They pioneered the rosin-infused pre-roll segment in San Diego and run an art-collaboration packaging program that treats each Product as a fine-art canvas.

The rosin-infused pre-rolls (1.3g, 0.7g mini, and 4-pack mini formats) are the flagship. Top edibles include the Blackberry Fire Live Rosin Gummies 10-pack (the #1 edible in the brand's portfolio per Headset) and the 1:1:1 CBD:CBN:THC Blueberry Milk gummies; top vapes include the Blue Crack and Cereal Milk Live Rosin Disposables.
